16) Quincy Byas, De Smet, EDGE, 6'2" - 230 lbs, 3 star recruit committed to Eastern Michigan

For the 2025 class, obviously a lot of players from Cardinal Ritter. Not a complete shocker, but it does show how imbalanced the amount of talent is. Private schools have 14 of the top 21 players still left in the playoffs, so 66% even though they only represent 7 of the 48 of the schools (14%).

Well, well, well. Would you look at that! The Big Ten has at least FOUR recruits STILL left in the MO high school football playoffs! AND least another 4 or 5 STILL considering a Big Ten school!! GET LOST, SEC!!

lmao no offense to Missouri as I live here but the top programs in the country dont shop in MO for talent very often it takes a program changer for that to happen

Just saw that the Mozee kid from LSN was originally committed to Oregon and decommitted to sign with Nebraska. Must not have been promised enough playing time or something? I can't imagine it was a true football decision. Also saw that he ran a 4.55, not elite by any means for a WR at the next level especially at his size.

His dad got hired at Nebraska.

Who , by the way, are cruising for their 8th consecutive sub-.500 season.

Isn't his dad on staff at NU now?

damn them Catholics know how to move money. Bosko must be a catholic
Irish Catholic given the volume he DRINKS at the pool hall.
Easy there, top! It is WELL known that I am of polish decent! But Cards, if you need to move some money, Im your man. The amount of money that would move through the booster club would impress even the federal reserve! We know how to "fundraise" here in Ampipe. What can I say?

cash pomeroy should be on the list. best player in class 1a taking visits to many schools. he will carry the comets to the title again.
" Best player in class 1a" might be a stretch...
Best RB in class 1 is more realistic.

I guess somehow the Beavers are not on the list I guess they haven't been in Missouri long enough to get a rating, but they are going D1 STAMP IT!!!
Southeast Polk somehow is playing for it all in IA 5A yet again and them leaving Dowling likely has a bit to do with that.

TheMommy has a nephew on Dowling just a Freshman but yeah they are a different animal.
SE Polk lost absolutely EVERYBODY from the back to back championships. I wish ISHSAA would relax their "no out of state games" rule. A nice for instance would be Pella vs. Kearney. That, trust me, would be fun and then some...............

No Valle or St Vincent players ???

I like your list Truman. Thanks for putting that together.

For some additional perspective, this shows who is also NOT currently playing.

For those boys still involved in the tournament this weekend, appreciate every moment of it because it's not easy to get this far regardless of your prospects of playing at the next level!

Not to mention, there are a LOT of athletes playing class 1-4 that are significantly better football players than those on this list above. They might not have the measurables, but the guys on the field (and their coaches) know.
