To Punt or Not To Punt

That has been Glendale's gameplan for the last 2 years. And to add to that they have no running back so Pass Only, No Punt, Onside Kick Gameplan

Glendale's 2-year game plan doesn't seem to have changed the season outcome (2015 went 4-7; 2014 went 2-8). Prior to Mike Mauk's arrival and new game plan, Glendale went:
-2013: 1-9
-2012: 2-8
-2011: 8-3
-2010: 3-7
-2009: 2-8
-2008: 4-7

What do Glendale fans think about Mauk's game plan? So far, it hasn't produced even a .500 season.

He(Glendale) is not a 100% on side.On the Ark. school, Besides the DATA everyone talks about. Has anyone compared the players they have. How many D1, D2, D3, NAIA kids are on their team?
Is it X&Os or Jimmy's and Joe's?

As far as I can tell, they've had a couple of recent players make it to the UoA Razorback team. Their 2015 season stats are solid...averaging 585 yards per game. Looking at their individual players, they aren't exactly loaded up on depth and Senior leadership. They have one star QB, one star RB, and two star WRs. Their linemen are mostly underclassmen of decent size (with a couple of mules). Time of possession and first downs indicate they grind it out rather than win on quick scores. They are definitely plus caliber but not what I would call "loaded". On the clipboard, at least, they look great.

See their stats, etc. here:

I think of a number big games, that we lost, and if our offense had taken a knee three straight times and punted the ball, we would have won the game.
Take a knee and punt is smarter in than not punting, in most games, where you have a good defense and an offense that ruins your chances of winning.

You seriously think that if you play not to lose and concede possession of the ball you are going to win the game? If you don't score, you can't win... It's pretty simple.

If you said 3 runs and punt I might be able to see your point. You better be willing to take some chances though. This isn't the NFL were every team, besides about 4, play not to lose every game. You have to give your team a chance to win. If you take 3 knees and punt you might as well not show up.

John Roderique doesn't get 10 rings taking 3 knees and punting the ball.

We were ahead in the games, good enough on offense to score on a short field and or did score on defense, our offense was awful, bad enough to create momentum for our opponents and sure to turn it over and give our opponents a short field. A number of seasons, We were really outstanding on defense, and had awful awful offenses, so our team was essentially a wash. We had a great punter. Yes, if I were the HC and I would've run the qb sneak 3 times and punted. And hell no, I would not have thrown the ball.
