Thumb, can you give us an update on the Borgia Turkey Tournament

I am interesting in the Owensville-Washington Score. Former Pacific high school standout and Missouri University rotation basketball player Cullen VanLeer will be coaching his first high school game tonight.

Another interest is University City coached my friend Kelvin Lee. Kelvin is in his third season @ University City. If we judge from the past, Kelvin Lee and his U. City teams could be in challenging position for district and beyond.

Metro it was a good week. University City defeated Zumwalt North easily in championship.

Borgia played a great game before losing to Zumwalt North in semi final. They really played great.

Borgia vs Washington was a game between two teams that could do little right. Possibly because both played such high tension games night before. And the rivalry. Borgia held on and if you ask Coach Neier he will tell you they were lucky to win the way that they played. But Washington played worse.

U city is for real! Lots of depth and not just athletic- they can shoot it. Local teams look to need to shake off some rust. I only attended one night on Wednesday but it was good to see high school hoops.

Yes they are. They frustrated KJ Lee all night. He made some good plays but just couldn’t really get going.
