#1 - I guess a couple of sites had the Class 1 and Class 2 sectionals at the same sites -- I didn't like it. I like it better when you could see your competition and that was all that was there. Combining the high jump and having both classes jump at the same time was confusing.
The added time it took to run the meet was also a detriment. Surely, there are enough good tracks in Missouri that you should not have to combine districts.
#2 - Has MSHSAA ever considered having the Class 1 and Class 2 sectionals on Friday night instead of Saturday. Many small schools share their track athletes with the baseball team. The baseball teams have their district on Saturdays and it often creates conflicts for the teams. The one class sectionals usually didn't take more than five hours - -if the Friday night sectionals started at 4:00 they would still be done by 9:00.
