my thoughts exactly...not a terrible list...but no way is the order correct.

That’s the worst top ten football movie list in the history of the world.

Rudy is an annoying idiot who spent his whole adult life unemployed trying to get a movie made about himself then afterward went on a speaking tour where my daughter heard his talk and said he had no message and was pathetic.

The stadium was not chanting Rudy. It was his parents and a handful of people around them. The scene where the players were turning in their jerseys was a total fabrication. And the movie made Dan Devine look like a jerk when he was not.
How do I know all these things? Because the team QB, Mr Joe Montana said so. He ripped the movie.

Any list with that in the top 10 has no credibility.

2. The Longest Yard (original)
3. Brian’s Song
4. Any Given Sunday
5. The Best of Times
6. Something for Joey
7. Friday Night Lights
8. The program
9. Horsefeathers
10. Varsity Blues.

It’s not a doc. It’s 5’4” Tom Cruise playing an absurd college prospect. Remember the T is based on a true story and doesn’t glorify boosters vandalizing private property and pathetically hanging out with high school kids. None of these movies are Docs, you tub of goo.

Stef CLEARLY states he is NOT NFL quality! Stef also only has ONE college show interest in him. Thats not a "college prospect"!! It took Coach Nickerson getting hired at Cal-Poly to give him a scholarship.

And were call ourselves the DOC Guys. Short for DOCUMENTARY!! NOT MOVIE Guys! NICE TRY BOZO!!!

Any list that doesn't include "The Program" when it talks about top ten football movies, is garbage.
