This new format sucks worse than I thought

It has NEW beside threads that haven't had a post for days. How are you supposed to know if there is really something new on there?

Make sure you have looked at all the old threads on the later pages. Click through some of those that have not been read, the new will go away.

I don't want to look at every thread I have no interest in. The boy's and girl's basketball forums have NEW on threads that I HAVE read and they still have NEW beside them even if they have NOTHING new on there. I'm still getting emails about Mosports posts too. I tried to fix that but it hasn't stopped them yet yet. I NEVER got an email about posts on here before this crazy thing came along. If I want to know what is on Mosports I get this site, I don't need email reminders.

Ok I just went through every site I use much on here and clicked on 'more options'. Then I clicked the check marks OFF where it says watch this thread and receive emails. Then I went back and looked at another post on those sites and the boxes are still checked to watch thread and receive emails. How the heck to do get that to go OFF?!!!!!
