I have to agree, this shows some real ignorance. Man, our education system stinks. Scratching my head. Must be our woke studies culture that doesn't teach the truth.
I'm wondering if the bashing of our 16th President and founding fathers as racists influences ignorance?

Yep. With the revisionist history taught today, why would anyone think Lincoln was a good POTUS?
Not sure Lincoln was great at all. Just think about what our history might be if there had been someone in the White House with the ability to negotiate with the souther states and avoid the entire civil war????

Well he led us into a civil war where 620,000 men were killed on the battlefield and millions more were wounded, maimed for life and displaced.
Are you saying that finding a solution short of civil war wouldn’t have been far better???
I agree with Blondee, just imagine if Lincoln had read "The Art of the Deal." We would never have had a civil war and he may have survived his 2 terms.
This war was inevitable. It was on its way for 400 years. He preserved the Union. There hasn't ever been a President more suited in God's plan for the USA and the world. Obama is in the conversation too. That needed to happen.
