This is getting ugly

How do you think those of us feel who live nowhere near that dump, but who's tax money gets commandeered everytime they want to subsidize a new sports stadium?

Didn't KC just use tax dollars to rennovate both arrowhead and Kauffman?

Saint Louis City is a dump. Saint Louis County is nicer than anything the rest of MO has to offer. I've lived in both KC and STL it's not close.

Kroenke is right. Losing the St. Louis market is the lesser of the 3 evils revenue-wise, that would happen if the Bolts left San Diego or Oakland left the bay area.

Rams couldn't sustain the sellouts when their winning seasons disappeared. Don't know if any team could relocate, have a couple winning years and expect to build any kind of fan base. Arrowhead was pretty empty in the late 70's/and all of the 80's.

Don't be surprised if the Raiders and the Rams end up being neighbors again. I think San Diego stays.

If the Rams leave, what will happen to the dome? And the state title games? Think the dome will stay open and functioning?

The Rams only used the dome 8 or 9 times a year. The rest of the time that place is
full of stuff.(tractor pulls, circus, motocross, etc) Stan and the Rams made new stadium
demands that could not be met. Off to LA and don't let the door hit you in the butt.

Jackson County residents paid for the renovations at Arrowhead and Kauffman.

And Kansas City is much nicer city than STL. Not even close.

STL City is only part of the equation. If the region was like any other in the country and STL County/City statistics were combined, it's not even close. West County, Ladue, Clayton Etc are as nice as any areas in the country.

I've lived in both. I don't give two peas about either now. I would much rather live in the STL Area than KC. KC has the same bad areas to avoid. Going to Arthur Bryant's is an experience in its own.

That's a load of crap Kenkster ! If you are on or in Bryant's property, you are safe. Their relationship with the KCPD is bedrock and therefore they are taken care of. I've been going down there for more years than I care to admit and I've never seen or heard of a problem at their specific location.

Looks like Stan Kroenke is trying to become the most hated man in St. Louis since Don Denkinger !

Right. Totally safe. We would fly into KC twice a week when my buddy was getting his hours. That area is shady as hell! Most of you KC rubes never stepped foot in the STL yet throw BS out on a regular basis.

I am not from either town, from good ole rural SWMO, but if I had a choice between either town I am picking KC hands down over St Louis. My daughter played travel ball and we spent a good amount of time and in booth places over the years. And I have been to both places to watch a baseball game and hands down I feel safer walking to my car at night leaving Kauffman over Busch stadium any-night. My kids were pretty wide eyed as we left Busch so many beggars and riffraff hitting you up on the walk. That is why I have yet to go back and watch the high school championships at the Dome.

Save your breath Bullit... He has had a hard on for KC for as long as he has been on this board. It's the old Gateway superiority crap.

Good lord, yes if you located Busch in Ladue you wouldn't have beggars either. I know you guys don't get it. It's fine.

Kenny I get it but they are not wanting to put the stadium in Ladue.... and Arrowhead and Kauffman have been around awhile and it is still a pretty nice area.

But that all said Springfield has more murders and a higher crime rate then either KC or St Louis, but I still go there, probable because I am just use to it, just as you are use to St Louis.

I've "got it" for a long time Kenkster. Your track record leaves little doubt... It will be interesting to see how the NFL chooses to handle all of the proposed movement. I'm betting that the Rams are gone. It would be a shame if Oakland goes...

KC is in a large parking lot. The dome is in the middle of a large city. In STL just be
careful where you park your car. The farther away from the stadium, the risker it is.
Pony up the $25 at the parking lot across Broadway from the stadium and there will
be no problem.
