I liked Buttigieg, but the nation would never vote for a guy that would hug or kiss his male partner on stage. He is young, well spoken, and likable. It seems you have to be old and white at this time in our history.
Bigger sample size might be the 2018 election and Trump is not what I would consider all there in the mental department. Is lying all the time a disorder?

I will be honest I am unusual in that I am probably right down the middle. Not a huge Trump fan but the attacks put me on the defensive. But if the Democrats had someone of any normalcy I might vote for them. That so far hasn’t been the case.

Building a wall and making Mexico pay for it is a good thing. It has been a failure. He's promised this and has not been able to deliver period. Invading Mexico occupying the southern border while we hire anyone that wants to provide labor would be a good thing. Not going to happen.
This still doesn't convince me that the Democrat party is good for America in any stretch of Trumps failures. This does not mean there are not good Democrats that do good things. But overall the party is too far left, corrupt and lost their marbles.

Other than the recent press conferences on covid, why do you think he has avoided press conferences when questions are being asked for 3 years? Because he knows he can't give specific answers with detailed information to give a coherent response on policy. With his current daily press conferences on covid, once he deviates from the prepared script written for him, he cannot give any specific information, mispronounces words, stops mid sentence and deviates to another subject, and then starts to go on and on about how "wonderful" and "beautiful" everything is, then repeats the same thing a few more times, and then goes on with his "optimistic" fantasyland with unrealistic predictions (lies!!) about the crisis. He is going senile.
Wait for the debates when Trump has to think and speak on his feet without a script, and answer questions requiring in depth knowledge and a cohesive thought process. He can't do it. All he can do without a script is speak in "twitterese".
So you believe it when they say Trump's approval of his handing of the virus deal is at 60% but you don't believe polls that say Biden leads Trump for the presidential race? Those polls have been VERY consistent since before Biden even declared as a candidate.
I don't believe in the polls. I don't see how Trumps Wuhan response approval rating could be over 45%. Most world leaders have seen a rise in their (10-15%).approval ratings due the Wuhan response. But not Trump. He finds a way to step on a rake by criticizing a subject off the task at hand, and the fact the media obliterates 24/7 with negative coverage and end of the world fear mongering. They rarely cover anything he has done well without a smirk.

Trumps approval ratings are the same or higher as the day he got elected. Polls (the ones you and I see) are pretty much meaningless when it comes to Trump.
Clinton had just under three million more votes than Trump. That is almost exactly what national polls showed going into the election. The polls nationally were accurate but that doesn’t translate in the electoral college where most states are winner take all.
