Maybe now the rest of the state will be convinced that Neelyville is pretty dang good and might have even deserved the #1 seed in their district.

If they beat Skyline they are assuredly very good.

Neelyville was great against Skyline, and really looked like the better team. Skyline missed a lot of open 3-pointers, but the key to the game was that Skyline’s pressure defense simply didn’t work against Neelyville, and for the most part they were forced to abandon it early and play a half court game.

makes me think Thayer and Hartville could have possibly played with Skyline. Walnut Grove got Class 1'd.. run in and fall down..go to the line.

All I've heard for the last few weeks was anybody coming from the District, Sectional and Quarterfinal over here was headed for a 20 point beat down by Skyline.

Congrats to Neelyville we played them our 1st game of the year and I said then there is your Class 2 states champs

Neelyville beat the 1st, 2nd 3rd, 6th and 7th state ranked teams from the District finals through the championship game by an average of 14 points. Neelyville dominated the playoffs.

That is an incredible run when you put it that way. I didn't get a chance to see them, but I know some of the teams they beat were really good.
