Why we have not done this a LONG time ago, is beyond me.
It would be good for our economy.
It makes sense, and it's easier. It's absurd that we haven't.

This is bizarre. In my 7th grade science class the teacher pretty much told us if we didn't master the metric system we will be unable to function as a human being. That was 1973. Now someone named Lincoln is running for President with this as part of his platform???

Pro-metric people are have no morals, favor gay marriage rights, support terrorism, believe in killing babies, cheat on their taxes, have premarital sex, support legalization of drugs, live on welfare and food stamps, receive farm subsidizies, shelter their assets in off shore accounts, believe in creationism vs. evolution, and read the Koran. They cannot be trusted.

If you were starting from scratch, you would never pick Imperial measures. Never.

Metric is much more intuitive given it uses decimal notation for everything.

Cost to much money for who? In my tool chest I have both metric and standard. and I continue to have to purchase both sets. So now you have to have huge tool chest to accommodate all those double tools. Seems such a waste that you have to purchase double when you buy tools, but you need them because just working on a car you can run across metric and standard.
