Maybe

You deny that a lot of college grads didn’t buy papers, sleep with professors, and buy test answers from assistant undergrads.
Now who is not being rational! The money some people made at the Missouri University extension taking test for others was lucrative no doubt for some!!

You are making the exceptions be the rule. That is not reasonable.

Bidin screwed us by running in the first place. Should have went with what he said in 2021, a 1 term president.

I think than the Dems would have chosen Pete, and I do think he would have won.

Pete is brilliant. He is an incredible debater and interviewee. He has a plan to fairly setup the Supreme Court to get rid of partisanship and he has a lot of other great ideas for fixing the government.

😂 lot of soul searching going on? Pete will fix the Supreme Court? Pete will fix the government? Can Pete fix all those diddy tapes? You are too funny. I guess you really think 72 plus million people voted for the second coming of Hitler?

The issue stems back to 2016. The Democrats planned on 8 years of Hilary and did not feel like they had to have another viable candidate until 2024. Trump won the election and it set off a firestorm in the Democrats because they needed a new popular candidate that they did not truly believe they would need to have for the 2020 election. Then it gets made worse in part due to their effort to derail Trump in the perception of the American public rather than focus on finding someone that independents could get behind.

Michelle Obama was probably their choice to groom for 2024 but the private sector of making money off of political influence has been nice to the Obamas, post-White House. Furthermore, Democrats need a candidate that is genuinely appealing to the old guard as well as the new guard of progressives. Remember, many Democrats are old-school farmers and they are grounded in their faith and service toward people, and not many can relate to the new "woke' ideals of the younger generations. Harris just is not relatable to people overall because she comes across as fake, disingenuous, and condescending. (Yes, I understand that Trump fits that mold).

All in all the Democrats are probably in more disarray than they would like to admit to right now. These individuals will not be considered, but could bridge a gap to the 2032 or 2036 elections: Steve Bullock, Joe Manchin, Andy Beshear, Josh Shapiro. Moderate, moderate, moderate...

You know it was his vice president-elect who specifically called him that, right? I don't think he's the second coming of Hitler, but J.D. Vance certainly did.

Look at the quotes from the people who worked closely with Trump.
They just seem to keep ignoring all of that.
Manchin can't win anything in the democratic party. He made things too difficult for them in the first 2 years of Biden.

Manchin is old school democrat. Off course he was difficult. That’s why I said what I said.

Time for Congressional hearings into the operations and illegal dealings of the Obama Shadow government and the cabal of miscreants that were pulling addle headed Crooked Joe's strings. America wants answers.

Thats nonsense about Michelle Obama, she had made it very clear when hates politics and the political life and would never consider running.

I'm sure when they cut the checks to Jack Smith's wife for doing their film work, Barry cuts the checks.

Hence, why I said their choice not hers and why she likes the private sector of profiting off of influence.

If you think Joe Manchin would even be considered by the Dem party, your credibility is going to take a hit. He is loathed by democrats nationally.

I never said it was the rule. I was again pointing out that people do skirt by nefarious means. And it’s very possible with her track record and her absolute lack of ability to come across as even moderately intelligent that she very well be what she portrays.

I am not saying she’s a genius here, but you have no basis for this, because plenty of brilliant people are terrible communicators. The worst oftentimes. Heck, just talk to a a good amount of doctors for evidence of this. This is exactly what people said about George W if you remember. He’s also not a great communicator, but also not the idiot so many tried to portray him as. Plenty of people who have had close personal contact with Trump (a.k.a. his political appointees) have attested to his many intellectual deficits. Again and again and again. If you need a list of these people, you can easily find one, or I can do the work for you; I don’t mind.

I don’t disagree with your analysis as a whole. But Kamala isn’t just a bad communicator her record as a DA and AG are not stellar.
Do I think she has average intellect? Yes and often average intellect is a good thing because good horse sense, the ability to way the pros and cons and not try and go off script can make a person a great leader. Not over thinking things and making issues and problems more complex is a good trait.

But I don’t see that in her, she appears to be wishy washy. One min. it’s ban guns the next it’s I own a Glock and love Guns. One min. it’s paramount we close the border no amnesty the next nope none of that. And the inherent need to blend and take on vocal dialects is a clear personality trait of insecurity, anxiety and lack or knowing ones self.

Oh and I think GW had very average intellect and if he wasn’t a Bush he has no Ivy League degree from Yale.

Obama has above average intellect sadly he just is a pure leftist and believes in those policies to his core.

She is wishy washy, which is part of why she never had great favorability ratings. I actually tend to think that not under-thinking things is at the very least equal in importance to not over-thinking things when it comes to good leadership. Especially when you are in charge of an immensely complex system like a nation.

You know, it is possible to hold two somewhat seemingly opposing viewpoints (that don't actually oppose one another) in one's head at the same time. I own quite a few guns, but I think it may not be the best idea that everyone with a pulse should be able to have one. Mental health being what it is, perhaps it might be a good idea to keep guns out of the hands of people who are unstable. Does this mean I want to ban guns? That's what has been argued in the past by the gun lobby and then by their mouthpieces in Congress.

The Old West didn't work. We tried it. A society that wants to survive eventually has to move beyond purely selfish individual motivation or it will self-destruct. No society thus far has done it, and of course, none have lasted. There was a guy who lived a couple millennia ago who talked about this stuff in very clear terms. So many people pretend they believe it. Their words and deeds show otherwise. And that's fine, but they should at least be honest with themselves. I can somewhat respect that.

Also, most of the analysis I've seen has put GW Bush's intelligence in the above-average range, but not genius-level.
