They need a new rule

I think they should get the calls right but if they're going to review plays they need to make the players on the floor go to the opposite side of the court from their bench while the refs sort things out. They get waaay too many free timeouts while this is going on, many of them in the last minute when a team might be out of timeouts to call on their own. I also think they should NOT give a coach 30 seconds to put in a sub when a player fouls out. 10 seconds would be plenty of time, he knows who he's going to put in for the kid that fouled out before it ever happens. Once again they get a free timeout when this happens.

I'd be in favor of about anything that speeds up the last 5 mins of a game.

Are there more media timeouts in NCAA tourneys? So many stoppages...I think just give them 3 timeouts with all the "built in" ones.

I played at a small college and a player asked the coach "Would we condition as much if we had media timeouts". The coach responded with "No, we would be able to rest a heck of a lot more with all those stoppages". So yah something needs to be done with the end of game reviews. Especially when its pretty clear after 1 or 2 replays. Maybe go to what the NFL has with someone watching from somewhere else to relay calls in.

They have all this and they missed a goal tending call where the kid had his hand up through the net and knocked the ball out of the rim, then the coach gets a T for going on the floor to argue! I get they have to call the T for him walking out on the floor, but how the heck can you have 3 officials out there and NOT one of them saw his hand up inside the net?!!!! I'm sure two of them have a responsibility to be looking else where but it HAS to be the responsibility of one of them to see that.

I'm starting to lean this way as well. I'm for getting as many calls right as possible. But all these stoppages are ridiculous. They kill momentum and take a lot away from the games. Games were great 20-30 years ago without it. Are they any better today? I don't think so.
