"There are plenty of Class 4 teams that can beat Kearney."

Because this isn't a "questionable call?" I doubt you were there at this game. Although, this doesn't matter now as Fort Osage deserves where they're at now in the 2015 Class 5 State Championship. Kearney is also going to the dome this year, but don't be surprised when you refresh twitter to see 30-0 Webb City at halftime.
HE WASN't IN THE ENDZONE... I was at the game. Fort was going against the strong wind.. Time was running out. Even if the call went their way....that doesn't mean they get in the endzone. By the way, nice still photograph...you can't tell if the ball is already moving in that photo. Touch break...but Fort LOST.

I was at that Fort Kearney game 2 yrs ago and I remember their stud rb Ezra Vaoifi was hurt, causing them to totally change their game. Depending on Skylar T as a sophomore (who held his own). Anyway, that Fort team is not as good as their squad this yr. Sima Thompson would give ANY O-line in the state a hard time. Jonah Tuimaseve probably the most underrated player on that defense, actually played snaps as a freshman against Kirkwood in their trip to the dome in '12 (loss). Sorry got long winded, but my point is you can never compare past records to this yr. lol Having said all that, Kearney is playing great ball and hopefully they take down Class 4 Goliath at the dome. Also hope Fort and BS South take the trophies home in their respective classes.
Not the point...the point is that kearney is 15-5 against the teams mentioned...Staley, LN, Fort and Park Hill...so claiming they can't compete with them is stupid...which is what BlizzardX is when he says idiotic things like Kearney "doesn't have the athletes to compete" with the likes of these schools. it is ridiculous.

My bad, I'm hoping for their success too. I just brought up the bigger classed schools since they were kind of in the mix of the thread. Well not South, but I have 2 nephews suiting up for them.
(1 is a freshman, so he probably won't play, but he gets to go)

Just spitballing back...why not go back 15 years? Why stop at 10? Oh, Kearney is 3-2 against Webb since 2000..this IS FUN. I guess your theory doesn't work.

Great idea, let's go back 15 years. When Park Hill and Kearney were in the same Class 4 district the Trojans put a couple of butt-whoopings on them. When your stud 2003 class were sophomore starters in 2001, Park Hill was pulling starters in the 2nd quarter against them because Kearney was so overmatched.

Once again Joey is not from KTown..................

Haha how about the missed fumble calls? They couldn't even score on offense so go away. Such a old story and of curse one of my favorite memories for a game.

Shall we review today's game? Lol

That 2001 Park Hill team may have been the best not to win it all I've seen in going on 40 years watching HSFB. Simply a case of catching another of those "peak" Webb City teams in the Semis that year. Honcho just wait and see (the C6 rumors are not going to pan out) what kinda Trojans team we all get treated to next fall..................Josh Hood has that program squarely headed in a Championship direction. They should be the Metro #1 preseason next August.

Very good game. What are you going to review? WEBB played like they did all year against teams with a good defense. Keep it close make kalftime adjustments, don't panic. Looked to work very well except twice with the runner getting in the end zone once and losing it by a hit and the second time just not getting the handoff clean and losing it on the exchange. WEBB had over 200 yards in the 4th quarter. Kearney has an outstanding D. No one can argue that but WEBB did put up over 350 yards on them. Only thing that bothers me about the loss is Coach Smith going out with one. Great Defensive Coach loved by his players and a great person. Wish him well in his future endeavors...

BlizzardX quote of the year...

"The biggest difference between Kearney, Staley, Park Hill, Fort and LN is size, strength, explosiveness, speed and depth. After that, that's where they get ya.
Yes, Kearney is going to do well in the playoffs, perhaps pull off an upset. Kearney is Kearney, they are over achievers and giant killers at times. But faced with equal tradition, and few more skill players they are over-matched and nature takes over. They are a marvel of getting the most of what they have, but it's not enough when that can't run as fast (Lol). I think there are plenty of class 4 teams out there that can beat Kearney."

Yeah, 15-5 against those teams Blizz...but since Kearney is Class 4, and even thought they have done better against common opponents than Fort, Park Hill and Staley...they must be inferior. I mean, they are class 4..

He doesn't know it but he just describe Webb City over achievers and giant killers. Kearney and Webb both play so hard , they will both expose a teams lack of discipline. They will both beat teams that have equal to more talent than they have.
