The angle of the camera made some of them look much better than they were. Seemed like it was off center much more than the one the used in the regular season by FSN.Did anyone notice how messed up the pitch tracker box was on TBS? Lester or Lackey would throw a pitch an inch off the plate and the graphic on the screen would look like the ball was out by the on deck circle.
Yeah that pretty much leaves no doubt about in and out calls.I like it when they give you the camera shot on replay from above home plate where you can see the pitch location. They don't do that much any more.
I hate the the info being on opposite corners of the screen and my wife knows I do by now. My eyes can't keep up with all the anymore and as you said it doesn't stay up long enough.Same exact gripes I had. I ended up going to gamecast on my phone to see pitch counts.
I'm shocked that an organization that broadcasts about a dozen games/year before the playoffs start, struggles with some of the details of a broadcast. Was kinda like watching the US Open this year on Fox. Oof.That whole pitch track box on TBS is horrid. Too big in relation to the remaining size of the screen. Pitch count doesn't belong there, it needs to be in the score box, and it's not up long enough. MPH isn't up long enough either. One good point is the B and K on each pitch, but their location is off anyway, so that positive is negated some.
Not like they haven't done it before, they should know how by now.I'm shocked that an organization that broadcasts about a dozen games/year before the playoffs start, struggles with some of the details of a broadcast. Was kinda like watching the US Open this year on Fox. Oof.
