I am honestly thinking they are taking this personal and focusing their energy on this forums. Most scammers are not this persistent on 1 target like this.
Several other states are seeing this level of bot activity. I went to the Indiana page yesterday and today. Yesterday, 1 or 2 forums had bot threads. Today, several and the amount of threads were insane
We cant keep dealing with this. If something is not done in the next couple of days by someone with that capability to permanently block them we might have to move on. I had to block 40 different accounts just for the posts that was done in the past 2 hours. This is not something that can be sustained.

well LOL i have "temporarily" locked out the forums admin account. There is literally no well developed security updates put on this forums. That is why this is being attacked. All non patched Xenforo forums are getting this issue with spammers.
I have emailed Bill and expressed OUR concerns and desperations concerning the issues at hand. I hope we can get this moving somewhere and possibly they can get in the system and specify a new administrator / moderators so we can get this back in check.
Not when this site limits ignores to 1000 accounts. At the rate this is expanding that will be the daily amount. I stick to believing someone wants to overwhelm then shut this site down.
I don't think it's time to abandon ship yet but maybe I'm not thinking outside the box enough. Tomorrow or tonight when I get home from these soccer matches I'm looking up the ceo of rivals and posting his email. We hit it and hit it hard til he caves
Good luck getting Bill back. He left pretty publicly several years ago. But I'm holding out hope you can convince him to help.
I really think there are several good, legit members in this community who would make find moderators. I'd put in an application if it came to it
Mosportsstaff have been posting stuff in mosports as well as in twitter as recent as last year. Issues heal over time. If he cared about his product that they have produced for many years and know how many people, organizations, and locations that it reached and mattered to then they will reach out to figure out a solution. Of course if the person had no interest or was a complete aOO then of course they would just ignore but seeing the posting traffic on social media within the last 12 months I don't think its not far fetched on getting him or them to come in and make something happen.
They need to make several of us moderators with at LEAST the ability to delete threads. Put in a screening/application process so you don't get people who abuse the power. Hell, I'm on here everyday, multiple times a day. If I had the ability to delete threads, I'd be deleting these bot threads left and right.
