In these cases I believe you have that right. And your spouse should not be screwed over by the insurance companies because of it.

Anybody that has ever watched a person die from a painful debilitating cancer or disease will understand.

That is an unbelievably tragic story. Absolutely no one has the right to tell this young lady what she can and cannot do for the last months (now days) of her life.
It is horrible that anyone should have to go through something like that.
I hope the whole family is able to find peace.

I don't think it's the government's business to tell us what to do in many situations including this one.

The GOP guy from Michigan that started all the assisted suicide bans probably had a lot of pharma money in his pocket.
 
She's doing the best thing possible. Making it easier for her. Making much easier(as much as possible at least) for everyone else involved. Hope her and her family can enjoy the time

And hopefully she gets one last scan before she makes her final choice
