Too bad the shutout got away but 100 pitch complete game was pretty nice. The Brewers looked like they were done. I guess now they get Gomez back and and couple pitchers we didn't face in this series they could come to life but it appears the Pirates are are the ones to watch now. Up 4 1/2 games with 19 to go should be tough to overcome.

Waino, the team, the coaches and all of Cardinal nation needed that game by Waino. He was struggling and starting cause some worries. But he looked as sharp as ever yesterday. Another 3 games like that then start the real season.
If you look at Whine-oh's starts in the post season. He is very inconsistent.
One good. One awful. He is over rated in the post season by people like R3 because
he was good in relief about 8 years ago. He ain't clutch. He is awesome against
below .500 teams. Big whoopy-D.

Post season stats Record 4-3 with 4 saves 2.53 ERA 67.2 innings 76ks not too shabby and I think all those teams were above .500
