THE Ohio State...

If you think this is about fair you are intirely wrong. It’s about $$$ and nothing else, the matchups are for tv ratings and I imagine that one this afternoon done pretty well and a lot of people will want to see it again. Like I said earlier if you want 8 you shouldn’t watch any of the playoffs shouldn’t take but one or two years to work

Georgia had their chance and they faked a punt on 4th and 11 vs Bama safe punt return. They dont deserve to go to any playoff. They got waxed at LSU and lost tonight.

OU should be in. No one beat them by 29 points. OU vs Bama. ND vs Clemson. Same teams over and over.

You may be right but should doesn’t have anything to do with it

Aren’t they locked in to a 4-team playoff until something like 2022? I hope we have controversy each season until then. I know chances of what I’m about to say are very low (disclaimer), but I’d love to have five undefeated teams each season until this contract runs out. I would think they’d have to, at the very least, expand to 6-team playoff. Hopefully, 8-teams.

Who would be favored in Vegas if Oklahoma and Georgia played on a neutral field next week?

Probably Georgia but unless Jimmy the Greek is on the selection committee it is not very relevant.

Several teams would likely be favored over Notre Dame but the Irish are a lock.

The committees stated purpose is to determine the four best teams it has nothing to do with conference affiliation. Now under those rules they can and will do whatever they want. Almost everyone agrees that Bama is head and shoulders above everyone except Clemson and now in most people’s opinion, Georgia. You tell me what’s going to happen you yourself stated earlier in this thread that Oklahoma or Ohio St couldn’t compete with Bama.

Contracts get rewrote everyday and these are with the networks if nobody watches who do you think will want them rewrote

Aren’t bowl games locked in as well? Corporate sponsors? Not as easy as you may think. I wish it were. If you go eight teams the arguments go from #4-5 to 8-9.
Btw, with Ohio State’s final point spread tonight, I’m still convinced committee love for Urban and Buckeyes get them in. Still think the four going in to this weekend shouldn’t change if actually want best four in nation.

ESPNs College Football final has Ohio State 71% chance and OU 26% of getting in. Georgia was 5%..

I think this year shows that it should be expanded. Ga. is easily the 4th team but has 2 losses......can't let them in. What if Ga had played Texas or Northwestern yesterday and OU and OSU had to play Bama? Who would have 2 losses then? Put 8 in! Even UCF has a right until someone beats them. I want the team with 2 losses eliminated as well as the team that got smoked by Purdue and the team that went to OT with Army and lost to Texas so, let UCF in if it's about wins and championships.
