They serve alcohol at the Scottrade Center, it will numb the experience.
if they win, will you stop calling for Kim Anderson's job? They will get beat. Come on now.
No. It's going to take a bit more than a win over Illinois for Kim to keep his job.if they win, will you stop calling for Kim Anderson's job?
Tom Crean first 4 years:Win or lose Anderson deserves to have this team get older. They are the 4th youngest team
in NCAA. They have a 4 star guard coming from Texas. He had to clean house for all
the guys Haith recruited. This team plays hard and everyone of them is back next
year. If then they can't win then yes but South Carolina and Indiana coaches didn't win
until their 4 th season.
Strangely enough, you listed four years worth of records for those two guys. HCKA is nine games into year three, just for reference.Tom Crean first 4 years:
6-25
10-21
12-20
27-9
Frank Martin first 4 years:
14-18
14-30
17-16
25-9
These guys made noticeable improvement, and they recruited very well, giving some hope to the future. Kim Anderson has not done either.

Can we talk for second about all the kids that have transferred that Kim and his staff recruited... Gill-Caesar, Isabel, Allen, Wright... They inherited Clark, Williams, and even Gant, so we'll give him a pass on those... But what about the fact that no one that was on his first team is still around today? Doesn't some of that have to do with him and his staff?Win or lose Anderson deserves to have this team get older. They are the 4th youngest team

No. He didn't recruit those players. He signed them. FFH recruited them. If he starts losing the guys in the soph class, then I think you've got cause for concern. Read slowly...Yes, he SIGNED them. No, he didn't recruit them. FFH started that process. His options were to sign them, or sign nobody essentially. It's not like you can start recruiting guys from scratch May 1st (when he was hired in 2014). The players in the 2015 class are actually the players he started the recruiting process on (granted for most it's earlier than their SR year, but I think you get the point) as MU coach.D'Angelo Allen,Teki Gill-Caesar, and Tremaine Isabell are definitely KA recruits. He picked them up the summer prior to his first year. Namon Wright and Jakeenan Gant were holdovers that Coach Haith signed.

My fault, I thought FFH recruited Isabell and Allen. They were still there and KA signed them. My mistake.Haith didn't recruit Isabell, Teki, or Allen. Isabell and Allen were two guys still available in the spring and Teki had the option to leave prep school early and Rob Fulford was his coach at Huntington.
I'm struggling to understand if you are saying that KA had no options getting hired that late and had to just take whatever he could get or if you are suggesting that Haith was recruiting those guys. "FFH started that process" definitely implies the latter.
KA didn't walk into a great situation by any means and I want to believe that the sophomores can build this thing back up, but I think it is a foregone conclusion at this point that they will be trying to do that with another head coach.

Totally agreed. But if he loses players this offseason, then I'd say there's definitely an issue.Easy mistake to make with all the new guys in 14/15. I agree with your overall point though, that we had to scramble to get players and he didn't have much time to get to know who he was signing.
