Agree, Maryville by 1,000Maryville 42 Lathrop 2 Turboclock in the 3rd quarter.
It's Maryville Lathrop not Maryville lawsonAgree, Maryville by 1,000
Since you have seen both teams, how did you arrive at Maryville winning in a blowout?Agree, Maryville by 1,000
what kind of home cooking will maryville being serving up?
fyi, I don't think at any point in their home winning streak they have needed it, I just think that the local refs like to feel like they are part of the win. Not sure if they get to hire the refs during the playoffs tho.
Mvill is not challenged very much during the regular season or even in district. I think they step up and slap Lathrop around just because they can.
You all know that the association assigns the stripes once postseason begins? Right? With Holt being the opposing coach think they will call it down the middle. He knows all the local refs.
You all know that the association assigns the stripes once postseason begins? Right?
My guess is it depends on what area of the state you're in. My friend ou812, who's an AD, could fill us in on it.Doesn't the Ref's association assign the crews all year long with leagues or does individual schools decide?
I was told by an AD that mshsaa assigns once the playoffs beginYou all know that the association assigns the stripes once postseason begins? Right?
So yes pcole is correctI was told by an AD that mshsaa assigns once the playoffs begin
Mshsaa assigns, that is what the coaches official ratings are used for, I believe.I was told by an AD that mshsaa assigns once the playoffs begin
Did Savannah's 2 TDS come against the 1's or 2's?This game going one of two ways. Watching both teams I just cant tell.
Either going be a Maryville blowout or going be a close low scoring game either team could win.
I just dont see Maryville's front 7 on defense will allow the running lanes Lathrop is use to making big gains.
Biggest question can Maryville offense move the ball against a speedy Lathrop defense.
One of the TDs was a pick 6.Did Savannah's 2 TDS come against the 1's or 2's?
Aaahhhhhhh. I was thinking Maryville better on defense than offense, and Lathrop better on offense than defense, which could lead to scoring. One of the TDs was a pick 6.
Kearney, Cameron, and Dekalb all spent various time as members also.Kansas City International. Named it when the airport went in. The original KCI members included Smithville and Platte county. So you had them in with North Platte, west Platte, Plattsburg, Lathrop, Lawson, mid Buchanan, east Buchanan.
Correct!! I had actually forgot about DeKalb. Bet it's hard for many today to imagine a high stakes clash between Platte county and dekalbKearney, Cameron, and Dekalb all spent various time as members also.
Kearney didn't have a program until the early 1960's. Not sure what year they got in the KCI, but were out by the end of the 1970's. Not entirely sure when Cameron got in (maybe late 80's?) and got out in the mid-1990's. Not sure on the years for Dekalb?Correct!! I had actually forgot about DeKalb. Actually it’s Kansas City Interscholastic. Found out a couple years ago it’s not for the airport.....Kansas City International. Named it when the airport went in. I'm going to estimate here - Cameron arrived near 88 and exited around 98?Kearney didn't have a program until the early 1960's. My source is usually nails on sports history around here, I'll let him knowActually it’s Kansas City Interscholastic. Found out a couple years ago it’s not for the airport.....
In the KCI?? I think it had a different name when Kearney and DeKalb were in it, Cameron was in the KCI for sure.Kearney, Cameron, and Dekalb all spent various time as members also.
Cameron was in 85 for sure, possibly a year or 2 priorI'm going to estimate here - Cameron arrived near 88 and exited around 98?
Your source is correct! My source is usually nails on sports history around here, I'll let him know
I grew up here played here, and live here and hadn't heard of interscholastic either but it's whateverYour source is correct!
No, it's Porhtal, not Porthal. Who doesn't need a Porhtal?I’m thinking Maryville, because Lathrop backwards is “Porthal”...and we can’t have that.
