St. Louis County schools are trying to play out of St. Louis county but Trinty will not be one of them. Trinity is the only catholic school in St. Louis County, the leadership said they will follow health department guidelines. Trinity should have done like St, Mary's, Cardinal Ritter, and Dubourgh and opted to the spring, big mistake. Catholic schools will never go against authority it is a very bad look for a school of faith. Sam Paige isn't even going to consider football for 3 more weeks and the numbers and hospitalization in St. Louis County is skyrocketing.

This literally might be both the funniest and saddest sentence ever written on this forum.

First of all most priests are very good faithful people. Second of all those football players are on scholarships and no way will they leave. They can't afford to transfer. You can judge a whole faith on a few bad people. I have catholic friends who are very faithful to their faith. Remember Cardinal Ritter last year when they pulled the plug on their football season, they expect honor and doing the right thing in catholic schools.

Only way MSHSAA is going to grant a transfer from a private school that is not playing to a public school that is playing is if you have a lake home.

Otherwise you’re SOL.

MSHSAA has already denied the eligibility of several high profile athletes who were unfortunate enough not to have a home at the lake.

I know there was a DeSmet lineman that is going to Fort Osage, he had already signed to Illinois so I don’t think he is playing football it was more about graduating early, DeSmet may not allow that.

Yes, scholarships it is perfectly legal and done at every private school in the St. Louis area. The public schools they live in aren't playing. There is one month to districts, so maybe they can get 1 game in before districts start. Ofallon Christian, Lutheran St. Charles, Duschene, Cardinal Ritter, Trinity they all give financial assistance. You think those big-time players for the most part can afford the very expensive tuition, of course not. These kids all go together from junior football leagues. Duschene had 12 kids last year from across the river that played together all come together and they have added more this year. 2 years ago they were bad they are very good now and the main players are soph.s and frosh. That is just one example and they are doing it by MSHSAA guidelines. They are giving these kids a chance at a good catholic education.

he is actually playing at School of the Osage in Lake of the Ozarks. He's a great kid and is most definitely playing.

Oh good deal, last i heard he wasn't. He is a fantastic kid and a very good player

you think all priests are bad no just a few Just like police officers only a small percentage are bad. You're just against religion so it wouldn't matter if I said a Christian Church you would say most Pastors are bad people.

You’re defending an institution that paved the way for an untold number of children to
be molested, sodomized and raped at the hands of priests worldwide because at the highest levels the institution did not cede oversight to the state — the polar opposite of what was claimed in the original post

It covered up, aided and in many cases participated in the crimes through obfuscation,, perjury and obstruction, leading to a cycle that perpetuated itself.

Whats worse, there was often systematic retribution and intimidation from the highest levels against those who had been victimized and had the audacity to speak up.

I’m not anti preacher or anti church. I’m anti child rapist. And I’m definitely against institutions that participate in cover ups of such acts.

Now, at least, we know we you stand
