ESPN published a story today telling best fits for 20 draft prospects.
1) QB Shedeur Sanders to the Browns - Pick #2
He's accurate and lacks mobility, Browns and Stefanski love play action which will allow Sanders' processing ability to be maximized
2) CB/WR Travis Hunter to the Jaguars - Pick #5 (I don't see him still being available here from what I've seen)
He could start at corner for them and lock down the side opposite Tyson Campbell. Could also be a good gadget piece on offense for new coach Liam Coen.
3) RB Ashton Jeanty to the Raiders - Pick #6 (No Likey)
Pete Carroll loves the run game and the Raiders have a weakness at RB right now. Chip Kelly's mix of gap and zone schemes will utilize all of his skills as well as being a good receiver out of the backfield for Geno Smith.
4) OT Armand Membou to the Saints - Pick #9 (One could argue every player is a good fit for the Saints....)
New coach Kellen Moore could use this pick to have two good, young, tackles after drafting Fuaga last year.
5) TE Tyler Warren to the Colts - Pick #14
He would open up the middle of the field for their passing offense as well as being a good blocker. Reminds them of George Kittle. Could help Richardson, or Jones, have a reliable target.
6) CB Will Johnson to the Falcons - Pick #15
Physical and smooth player that would fit well in Raheem Morris' scheme. Adding him to A.J. Terrell on the opposite side would give them two long corners that excel in zone coverage.
7) G/C Grey Zabel to the Seahawks - Pick # 18
Seahawks don't have much talent at Guard and he fits well in their zone run scheme. Has great skill and power. Was the best player they saw at the Senior Bowl. (I have seen this from multiple reporters)
8) WR Tetairoa McMillan to the Broncos - Pick #20
Fits well as a big slot target for Payton's offense and can fill a role similar to what Colston did for the Saints. Has great ball skills but is more smooth than fast. (Didn't run a good 40)
9) RB Omarion Hampton to the Steelers - Pick #21
He would step in as the lead back immediately and would allow Warren to be used as a secondary back. Is great in zone running and would be good out of the backfield for them as well.
10) CB Maxwell Hairston to the Packers - Pick #23
He matches up well in man coverage which Packers are expected to run more of this year. He also has great speed, running a 4.28. The future of Jaire Alexander is uncertain so he will fill that need if he leaves.
11) S Nick Emmanwori to the Vikings - Pick #24
He has great size and physical traits (the dude is a freak, 6'3" 220 lbs and runs a 4.38....) so Flores could use him many ways in his aggressive defense. Can defend many positions with his combination of size and speed.
12) Edge Mike Green to the Commanders - Pick #29
Great fit with the schemed 1 on 1 matchups he will likely get in Quinn's defense. Has great speed and effort level. He had 17 sacks this past season at Marshall.
13) S Xavier Watts to the Bills - Pick #30
Adds speed and playmaking ability to the defense. He had 13 interceptions over the last two seasons at Notre Dame (has to be one of the top in the country I would think).
14) DT Walter Nolen to the Eagles - Pick #32
Explosive mover that can disrupt in the backfield. Would give Fangio another three down defensive lineman which is important with the loss of Milton Williams.
15) RB Kaleb Johnson to the Bears - Pick #39 or 41
Really good at getting upfield and breaking off 10+ yard runs. He would pair well with Swift. He would also work well in the zone schemes that new coach Ben Johnson has run in the past with the added bonus of being a good receiver out of the backfield.
16) TE Mason Taylor to the Jets - Pick #42
Taylor could be used similar to Laporta of the Lions which is relevant because the new passing coordinator for the Jets was with the Lions previously. Has three-level ability in his route running.
17) CB Darien Porter to the 49ers - Pick #43
He has all the tools to play press man which is good for Saleh's defense. He has long arms and good speed both of which help with press man (obviously).
18) RB TreVeyon Henderson to the Cowboys - Pick #44
Henderson would immediately split touches with free agency pick up Williams. He is a slasher with big play ability which is something the Cowboys lacked at RB last year.
19) CB Shavon Revel Jr. to the Buccaneers - Pick #53
He is a physical strong fit for the Bucs zone heavy scheme. Has great backfield vision allowing him to break on the ball.
20) WR Jayden Higgins to the Panthers - Pick #57
He would give Young a great inside out target with great ball skills.
