They shoulda yanked Martinez the minute he threw his bat. What the heck is wrong with that dude, does he think he's a great hitter and gets that mad when he pooches a little ground ball somewhere? There comes a time when you gotta make a point!

Pretty sure he was pissed because he didn't get granted time. Had to run it back to see that, but he clearly asked in plenty of time. Wasn't granted, however. Not that it has to be. Or not that he had to hack at a 2-0 pitch. But I don't really mind the chip he plays with at all. I miss personalities. Dude has one, and has a bit of a fire to him. That said, the bat flip was pretty sophomoric...Side note, it's pretty embarrassing how quickly the umps try to move this particular game. The Marp check swing in the 1st he was rang up on. CMart not being granted time. They're just trying to get home.
