Couple that with the fact that Boonvillle is just west of Columbia & that gives the west side guys 2 of the top 10 players in the 2022 class you’re making some serious headway

Not news or worthy of brag. A non-STL school has won all but one Class 4 state title in track since Class 4 was a class.

To be more specific, The name was changed from 4A to 4 in 2002 and St.Louis area schools have won 7 of those meets. If you meant since TF went to 5 classes in 2015, then correct.

Unfortunately for St. Louis track teams, winning a state title requires some success in long distance events.

Props to the kid from Eldo who basically single handedly won class 3 state. First in 800, 1600, 3200 and in the 4x800 took the team from 11th to 6th.
