Isnt Class 3's St Mary's out of St. Louis still undefeated?
St. Mary's lost to Neuqua Valley High School out of Illinois. Neuqua Valley if I'm not mistaken is a Class 8 school who is undefeated this year with close to 3,500 students in the school, and St. Mary's only lost 26-21. I think St. Mary's is the favorite to win Class 3. I wouldn't quite count out Valle Catholic though, very well coached and a very good team as well. I just think St. Mary's might have a little too much for them and everyone else in Class 3.

Excelsior Springs beat Odessa according to MSHSAA list. Is that a fact or fake news

It’s been answered, but they lost to a huge school last week. They’d wax Valle. That’s the best STL small school of the past decade. Imo. (1-3)

They lost week 2 to Neuqua Valley and won last week

St. Mary's will out class them in districts. I feel sorry for them having to play them in their district. Class 3 as a whole will be quite interesting. For the rest of Class 3:

District 1 - Park Hills Central
District 2 - St. Mary's
District 3 - I am going with Cardinal Ritter
District 4 - Priory / Owensville (I am at a toss up on that one)
District 5 - Winner of a Blair Oaks / Boonville rematch ( I am not fully convinced Boonville will win a rematch and Mexico is good but I don't think they would prevail against either of these teams "Tell me I am wrong" )
District 6 - Buffalo / Aurora ( Still not decided)
District 7 - Center / Odessa rematch though Summit Christian does spark my interest of making a run
District 8 - St Pius X easily

I think Aurora really improved as the year went on. Buffalo struggled with the SCA. Not that it’s a bad conference it’s not. But it’s mostly to all (can’t remember) class 2 outside of Grove.

Agree, on the Blair Oaks beating Boonville. Neither team will be able to stop the other, so Blair Oaks, the more disciplined team, is likely to make fewer mistakes. Boonville could definitely win, but I would slightly favor Blair Oaks in a rematch, especially if Boonville's 4 star D-end is still out.

Not fair!
Not fair to predict district champs from a winner of one game, is it Precious?

That game would be November 5th. It would be played in Boonville. 4 star back or not. The game will be packed and expect just as many Blair Oaks fans as Boonville fans there.

8-man undefeated going into Week 9:
#4 Drexel 7-0
#3 East Atchison 8-0
#2 North Shelby 8-0
#1 Worth County 8-0

Drexel plays at St. Paul Lutheran (6-2)
East Atchison plays at Platte Valley (6-2)
North Shelby vs Braymer (3-4)
Worth County vs #5 Stanberry (5-2)
Well East Atchison lost to Platte Valley in the season finale 28-26 so 3 undefeated 8-man teams left:
#1 Worth County 9-0
#2 North Shelby 9-0
#3 Drexel 8-0

Worth County and North Shelby would meet in the semifinals, Drexel could see the winner in the championship game.
A reminder that the farthest team South to win an 8-man championship is DeKalb (2002) and the farthest team East is SW Livingston (2020).
