Class 2

Lutheran North over Ava 44-20

Class 3

Odessa over Blair Oaks 31-28

Class 4

Webb City over Farmington 31-14

Class 5

Jackson over Fort Zumwalt North 38-28

Class 6

De Smet over Liberty North 35-19

Not gonna argue with class one with the way Hayti has been playing. Pretty big win over Scott City last week but regardless can't see them repeating. Everything else looks nice enough. Class 2 could be real interesting with the Ritter situation.

They were up until assignments this year. Chaminade moved from district two to three and with the assignments this year (1/2/7/8, 3/4/5/6) they’re forced to meet in the championship.

Algorithms don’t know how to play football, but they do know probabilities.

Now, if I were wagering and my predictions were spot on over 80% of the time, I guess either everyone would think I know football or... maybe I would get a visit from some gambling commission, right?

That close very high scoring result Camdenton had vs. Glendale worries me, though. Webb's D, as I suspected pre-season, is going to be the most formidable the Lakers have faced (providing both do indeed rematch in the quarters) by far.

Bahaha. The best team Jackson has played is Farmington. Staley has played five teams better than Farmington, including Liberty North #2 C6 and Park Hill #5 in C6. If Staley is healthy and on all cylinders they will smoke everyone in the bracket, including Jackson...winner over #7 in Class 4 Farmington...bahaha

Went to the game last night. I have no clue what Jackson is like but Staley looks undersized and their coach seems afraid of letting their qb throw the ball. The two backs were good. The LBs were very solid. Park Hills offense was terrible and has been terrible all year. When you get a punt blocked, give up an onside kick, have multiple punts go like 12 yards because you’re more worried about being cute than just lining up and executing a punt. Park Hills defense is legit but they’re never go to win anything when they have to play disciplined football teams in the playoffs. Teams that don’t jump offsides on 4th and 1 to give Staley the win. Teams that don’t put the ball on the turf 3 or 4 times a game like Park Hill. Now I’m all fired up again.

Goddard does just fine for sure. Hicks probably a harder runner but that’s kinda why he got his ankle busted last night. He was headed to the house no matter what and went down. If it’s not broke should have 3-4 weeks rehab time

Already gotten past Hickman and Rock Bridge. Doubt if they get by Desmet, but they will be battle tested in preparation for Camdenton though for sure.
