St. Mary's rolling Valle

A C4 by size adjustment ahead of a C1 by size adjustment. Not sure if this is a complete shock.

BTW, here's where Valle will stand next year:

15/16 - State Champs - 4 points
16/17 - District Champs - 1 point
17/18 - State Finalist - 3 points
18/19 - District Finalist - 0 points
19/20 - State Champs - 4points
20/21 - District 2nd Round - 0 points (assuming a loss tonight)

That's 12 points, which means they will remain Class 3 at least one more year.

St. Mary's wasn't necessarily a great, or good, class 4 team to begin with.

It was 8 years ago, webb won 47-7. So my statement is still true.

Webbies gonna Webb...

i don’t know much about St Mary’s this year but I’m surprised they are beating Valle so soundly. I figured Valle wouldn’t lose unless it was Lutheran North or Blair Oaks.
Swore a poster told me a couple weeks back that Valle is better coached, works harder, more disciplined etc etc. turns out talent usually wins in football after all

Valle schedule is so bad it doesn't prepare them to play Talent like St. marys has. Blair oaks played Valle that was the only team that was any good on their whole schedule. You get away with playing poor teams in class 1, not in class 3.

oh here we go. “Don’t need to work hard, just recruit better” BS
They just beat a school with 130? Kids.
beat that chest. Flex. Pull up. Hahahahaha
Funny you’re Quoting something I never said. You idiots dont know who works hard and who doesnt. So the fact that you try to use that anyway is dumb. Valle should move back down might have a better chance. Got blown out the game wasnt even competitive vs an above average Class 3 team.

So is this another case of parents get together and send a group of talented kids to school together or is this more organic?
Organic, st Mary’s is a south side St. Louis school. No one is getting together to send kid there like they would at Desmet or CBC

Valle will have one more year in Class 3 and will meet the same fate next year against St. Marys. With the new system, they will eventually land in Class 2 where they probably belong.

St Marys an above average Class 3 team?? They are at least a Top 5 Class 3 team. In their early season match up with Lutheran North, they had a ton of turnovers and penalties. IF they clean that up, the rematch should be a dandy.

Coleman is a stud!! I'm curious how fast he is - anybody know if he runs track?? 40 time? 100M time?

BPcomplete is a d bag. Don’t engage. He’s looking and craving attention.

OK, thanks, figured he was fishing with calling St Marys "an above average Class 3 team". St Marys is impressive, as is Lutheran North. I can see them meeting again in the semis.

There might be more reason to send city kids to St. Mary's considering the state of StL public schools. Plus, we had neighbors in St. Louis County that sent their boys there.

I told you all this whole class thing with private schools would take a year or 2 to work it’s self out.
Eventually Valle will be fine and probably bounce between Class 2 and 3 most years. They will get used to the competition and will probably schedule tougher in the future.

My organic quote is that St Mary's isn't on the same level as Lutheran North or Trinity in north county with talent ect. Sure there are families that send their kids there,, because dad went there, that happens all the time. It wasn't going because of football.
