Lol actually bought some rental property out there this spring. I’ve lived in mid-mo my entire life. I love when people from the outside make uneducated comments on stuff they don’t know anything about. You can assume all you want about recruiting, but you are mistaken. I can think of 3 kids that moved in during high school. One is a coaches son who coached with Coach LePage back at Jeff City and the 2 others were military transfers

I also know recruiting takes place across the state. Public and Private. The difference is no one reports it because most do it.

Personally I don’t have a problem with as long as the guidelines MSHSAA has are followed. If a kids moves within the rules it shouldn’t matter why. I’ve seen ADs screw over kids just out of spite.

Let’s be honest most of you would send your kid to CBC, Rockhurst or Desmet if you had the chance.

1) Excellent coaching
2) Youth program starting at 4th grade all the way to high school
3) Growth of the school district as a whole as pretty much the most wanted area to buy or build in the Jeff City area
4) Complete community support

I will. High socioeconomics compared to the vast majority of their competition. Which is a factor most places that sustain success over long periods. Not all, but most. It's tough to win at poor schools with poor kids.
