Benton girls coach Brett Goodwin has been named the school's new AD starting next year according to Twitter posts, with the retirement of their current AD.
ST Joe News Press reporting on Twitter that it means Goodwin may not return as Benton Girls coach next year. They were 23-3 this year, losing to Kearney in sectionals. Will lose one Sr starter and one Sr reserve that played vs Chillicothe this season.

That will be one heck of a job for someone to get. Would assume there’s gonna be a ton of people going for the job.

Probably quite a few sighs of relief from class 4 coaches after reading this!! Goodwin built one oft the strongest programs in the state!
