Seems fair to me both teams playing for first and third have no days. It's not like one team has an advantage over the other. Plus you are allowed to prepare at practice ahead of time. Is it more difficult? It is but not impossible. Marquee games on Friday and Sat. night. sounds like fun to me.

Then 5th, 3rd, and 1st games played on Saturday. Everyone gets the same amount of rest

it just seems stupid to me, why go back to back when it is not needed? the statement was not one of which stated a team had an advantage over the other they were playing, it was why have a team play monday and then not play again til friday and then have no time to prepare for saturdays opponent? yes, neither team has an advantage, but good grief. ooh well it will be a easy run for licking anyway. the more talented team usually wins in back to back games anyway.

You usually do not get much out of practice anyway the day before the finals game anyway. You shoot, loosen up, talk and walk through your opponent. Nothing you can not do Saturday morning before the 3rd and championship games. It also keeps kids f night during the week and be in late for school the next day. They are student-athletes
