I've got no issue with either being on the roster. I'd have an issue if either were penciled into an everyday role, which neither are. Koz is a good utility option. Can play SS at a reasonably high level defensively, runs well, and is athletic enough that he should be able to play multiple positions in an emergency. And to me, Grichuk is a nice 4th OFer option. Should provide some righty pop off the bench, which this team needs. I suppose, in a perfect world, he'd hit enough to slide Heyward to CF and Grichuk can play RF everyday. It looks like Kozma WILL be on the opening day roster along with Grichuk. They need to find some good way to dump the guy who was supposed to take Jay's spot in CF. He hit better with a bad hip at the end of last season than any other time.
So I take it you're not high on our current CF??Originally posted by Eagles_Ball:
