So can we recruit the Chief faithful for atleast a few Sundays???

and this one was given away. Thank you for stating my point. Look, like I said, I was pulling for the Vikes. I am glad they won. But as a football fan, I'd much rather see a team make a great play to win vs making one of the biggest playoff screw-ups in history that's all I am saying.

Brees is a HOFer. In the history of the league he is an incredibly accurate passer.
Three of the four highest completion percentages ever recorded are by Drew Brees.

The Vikes have a very good defense. Yet he carved them up the second half. He played well enough to win. Just enjoy your win and stop whining because we dont think Case freakin Keenum is Joe Montana.

Who's whining? lol

I believe if you took the time and read my previous post I stated just how good Brees is/was. But also stated you can't feel too bad for him considering he had two interceptions in the first half.

Definitely enjoying the win! I'm sorry your Steelers didn't. Kenny56's Mom was pretty fired up that they lost.

What quote? You want me to do searches for you to find every post game interview he did last night? Wtf. He said something along the lines of " I dont even know what just happened". I dont remember the other words he said. But he wasnt taking credit. Which I thought was great. I saw him interviewed by three different networks.

Right, I get that. I didn't know what happened and I had the luxury of watching it on the DVR. I don't think he was saying "Wow, they really gave that to us". If you hear him break down the play he said he was aiming for the back of Diggs helmet. He knew he had three guys on that sideline and tried to put it far enough out that Diggs could get it and toe tap in bounds. Then he said he was screaming at him to go out of bounds, as I believe everybody was. The fact he DIDNT go out of bounds is a great play in itself. So yeah, nobody expected a touchdown on a play designed to be a tight sideline throw and catch.

It's interesting that you interpreted that way. Must be a personality thing.

Yes. Admiring someone who wasnt cocky is a personality flaw. Brilliant.

I guess I misinterpreted what you were saying. The way your post reads made it sound like Case acknowledged it was a fluke he made that pass, it was a fluke Diggs made that catch and run...

Even Keenum was smart enough to not think he won the game.

I'm sure Keenum realizes that if Williams makes a good play its either game over or a chance to win it with a FG. But I am also sure he realizes that if the Saints don't block the punt they're not in great field position(Bad special teams play?. Or if he doesn't lay one up off his back foot their not in good field position(bad qb play?). If Sendejo doesn't get TKO'd the Saints wouldn't be picking on his replacement(bad backup play?).

Either way, I agree with you, Keenum has been great with handling his role on the Vikings team all year.

Now pop a blood pressure pill and enjoy your day off.

I think it was on CNN. So it must have been picked up from a local minny station. I liked his attitude when he was with the Rams. He isnt afraid to make a mistake but he isnt a cocky boy.

Pat Shurmur has done a fantastic job this year. I wish he would have felt comfortable with staying a OC, and not chasing the HC gig. I think he deserves a lot of credit with how Keenum has developed.

Personally I hope they sign Keenum and hope Bridgewater takes a reduced deal.

How about Saints-Steelers? Two well balanced teams with HOF talent.
Yea. I like it. No Brady. No boring Keenum or Bortles. As they would say at a Vikings game: Yeah. OK then.

Well.....that ain't gonna happen, not that I would have minded seeing that matchup. I like Brees.

Read a funny quote about the high price of super bowl tickets if the Vikes make it and the buyers market for bass boats in Minnesota. Estimated markup up for tickets is estimated to be 10x face value!

And they'll pay it. Think about how much money the average fan pays to go see their team in the Super Bowl. Most of the time they would have to travel, get hotel rooms, food cost etc. If it's right in your own back door you don't have to do any of that. Which is why IF they make it, it will be a home field advantage. They will be buying up tickets right and left.

Gotta make it there first......

So basically if the Vikings win they are costing the city millions.

Possibly. I will say the biggest hurt will be in hotel rooms, but I am sure they will still see their $$$. Then again, if Minnesota makes it, there will be far more celebration than just those 3-4 days planned. Also would think Uber/Taxi will see more money out of them playing a home game for the Super Bowl.

Either way, hopefully they find themselves with that problem.
