Smithville 40, MICDS 36 FINAL!!!!!!!

My take was, MICDS got tight being up. Not the play calls the kids. Then Smithville scored and MICDS got nervous and spiraled. Smithville got outplayed all but the last 10 min and they made MICDS pay for it. It was great win for them and congrats .
Smithville was PATIENT. Stuck to their game plan. MICDS lost on the lines the second half. Again they seemed to run out of gas late.
MICDS got to see the real Smithville in the 4Q
Where were they for the 1st 3 quarters? This has thread has been comedy gold from the beginning. How many people sprained ankles jumping to conclusions. Backtracking could become an official sport on this board!

Actually I don't like I did back in my early years here (the advantage of age/maturity I suppose). As opposed to back then I prefer not to sit here and go back and forth with any of these stupid trolls. Blocking them is the best option then problem solved. Had you been here 2008-12 you'd know what I mean haha.

We had some outright dandies in 2010-12. Was actually much more intense when Floray, my old HS buddy who passed Jan 2012, was here. God bless him eternally!
I so sadly agree. Very torn Saturday 3 PM (the final game of the entire season): East Buchanan is right up 169 a huge sentimental favorite BUT Floray was born in Marceline and wrote an amazing book (thankfully got a copy prior to his untimely passing) about the whole history of the BELL GAME. Will definitely have him in my thoughts as I watch this one!
in my opinion, though East Buch surprisingly outdid Thayer, I think if Marceline was able to overcome the superior athleticism of Hayti, I don’t think they will lose to East Buch. East Buch has long and fast skill players, but I guarantee they are not as capable as Haytis players and for that reason, I’m going to take Marceline over East Buch. Was not impressed with East Buchs O Line.
