I hope so, otherwise you are treading dangerously close to language that is liable. A thug, by definition, is someone who is involIved in criminal behavior.
Would you care to elaborate on why you would call someone a thug or are you just slandering another person over high school sports?

Thug means bully in this regard. I have no idea what is happening at SC but it looks like this guy gets off on beating smaller class schools. No reason to call a lawyer.
What is your backstory with such an axe to grind with this school? I’ve seen stuff on here over the past couple years along these same lines.
If the original poster meant bully she would have said bully. She didn’t. She specially chose a different word for a specific purpose.
Thug has a decidedly more aggressive negative connotation associated with it... it implies criminal, unethical or morally bankrupt behavior.
I’ve never heard a high school coach called a thug, even those who were arrested, got multiple DUIs, cheated on their wives with a high school student or anything else.
A thug has no business being involved in public education in any way, shape, form or fashion. If the person in question is indeed a thug, then let’s hear it and sign your name to it. If not, let’s be an adult and not impugn another mans character over a game because he didn’t play your daughter enough minutes or win enough games for your linking.

I used to be a good person and carry turtles off the road ...last time I did it ...it was an alligator snapper and it basically kicked my ass ....long story short ...I now hate turtles . Carry on with your libel
Im still here...I just try to distance myself from these kinds of posts. Im not sure what this year has to do with Coach Boyer or Rob Davis. And I think any comments made about them are inappropriate.
Smith-Cotton is simply outmatched this year. Much like my freshman year when we went 2-8. Down years happen. Smith-Cotton has always been in a tough spot scheduling wise....location has a lot to do with it...being tied in the WCC was another. Sedalia is just not a town that has the talent or draw to field competitive football teams every year. Its extremely cyclical here and the move to the new conference will no doubt be a bigger challenge.
Bottom line is I hate this kind of negativity or outright rudeness. And it has no place on an anonymous forum. Criticize or Monday morning QB all you want, but leave the personal attacks out of it. That said, based on a few comments on here, some of you can see passed the anonymity.

Sedalia will be a member of the Central Missouri Conference next year with the 3 Jeff City schools and the 3 Columbia schools. It should make scheduling much easier for all.
