Mr. Dogfather1, I know this is the girls' board and all, but I think you like hoops history so I thought I'd throw this in. Jefferson (Conception Jct.) boys won their quarterfinal last night. The next game they lose will be the last game for Jefferson as a stand-alone HS basketball program. Jefferson has been co-oping with South Nodaway (Barnard) for the past 3-4 years for all sports (varsity and JH) but high school basketball. Starting next school year (2019-20), they'll co-op high school basketball. To us longtime followers of NWMO high school ball, it's gonna be a sad night when the Eagles finally lose. (Unless, obviously, they win Class 1; then, the sadness won't set in for a while.)

I have very fond memories of the many good Jefferson teams that competed in the final four over the years..
Hopefully the change will turn out to be a positive thing..
