Clever will be fine. Talented group. The transfers from Nixa really help Clevenger avoid junk D.
Columbia College is out of money and usually only signs Phenom kids.

See JC score?2 players from phenom. None signed for next year.
The red head from Skyline held her to 10 points. She’s maybe 5’3”....what is Clevanger going to get done against a 5’9”+ guard in D2? She’s not Drury materialShe is a senior 2guard and I have heard she is waiting on Drury to offer something or possibly 3 Rivers juco. She is really having a great year.
She got 5 against the jv at the end of the game when they started pressing but I guess that still counts. She missed a lot of open looks that game, shots she normally makes. And when she drove they had two or three defenders waiting for her at the basket. Kudos to Skyline for playing good D - and she faced several different defenders, not just the short girl - but again Clevenger had looks that she normally makes.
And she scored 15 according to Twitter, not 10

I will say this... Columbia College has the Frederick girl coming in from Kickapoo. Clevenger is the better all around player and athlete by a pretty significant margin
Pretty sad that people would use this forum to say anything negative about a high school girl and to call them out by name.
CC #15 defeated #10 Lyon Saturday. Good luck to both girls above
Plus didn’t Kickapoo beat them by 40 points not to long ago? She must be doing something right.
You're right, I took it down. You take yours down now since you quoted me.
But for the record what I said wasn't necessarily derogatory. The player named is a very good player, otherwise she would not be headed to college to play ball. I was just stating my opinion that another player is better. Nothing wrong with that, but you are correct that I should not have named names.
As you can see, there are others bashing a player in this thread. Maybe call them out too?

Not saying she isn’t a good player or that she can’t play at the next level. Just saying she isn’t Drury material. Not sure what the motive behind this and the other post is. Do you not think she is a great player? She had an off night, and overall Skyline had a good game plan defensively against her. That's all there is to it. She's still the same player she was before this game.
I just found out this evening that 3 Rivers has offered Clevenger. Not saying she isn’t a good player or that she can’t play at the next level. Just saying she isn’t Drury material.

Yeah Coach Wiggs told me that last night, I just hadn't talked to the coaches much lately. When I saw the conversation about her on here I asked him about her at their home game last night.Clevenger has had the offer from 3Rivers for a little while now. She also has an offer from Evangel, a partial from UCM, and a partial from Drury. I guess the guy who thinks she “isn’t Drury material” must know more than the DU coaching staff who has tried to work out a package for her with the limited scholarship money they have in the 2020 class. Drury had 1 full scholarship for this class and they gave it to Katie Scott, who I see as an all-American type signing for them. If she doesn’t end up at Drury I would love to see her and Holland team up at 3 Rivers together. To anyone who hasn’t seen Jordan Alford play at CC, take the time too. That actually is a pretty good comparison. Alford can really play.
