The QB legend from Ft. Osage debuted tonight against the Bucs. Had a great first half. 10-12 122yds and his first TD.
Fantastic! Will never forget his 2015 season at Fort! The QB legend from Ft. Osage debuted tonight against the Bucs. Had a great first half. 10-12 122yds and his first TD.

Definitely agree with you on ST... I was at the playoff games where Fort beat Staley and then Park Hill to get to the state championship game his senior year. He put on fantastic performances in both games. He was far more athletic and developed than any HS QB that I have ever seen in the KC area. The kid is a winner. Fort had 1 regular season loss in the 3 years Thompson was a starter. Ironically it was to Liberty North in that 2015 season. The other two were to Kearney in 2013 in the state quarters and Park Hill in 2014 also in the quarterfinals. Both of those losses came down to the last minute. They also had quite a few close wins over those 3 seasons....and imo Thompson was the difference maker. He has the IT factor.
I remember the comparisons between him and Drew Lock back in 2013. Now look. BOTH in the NFL. Exciting stuff!Definitely agree with you on ST...
