Sorry sports fans but if the Cardinals lose their playoff series to either the Cubs or Pirates, this is a failed season.

The Cubs have made up an incredible amount of ground in one season from 2014 to 2015.

Only beating their ass in the playoffs will make up for the mishandling of the pitching staff and the horrible Moss trade at the deadline.

Everybody would like win it all every year but no one does. The Cardinals have clinched a playoff spot for the 5th year in a row. Even with the expanded playoff system MLB has now that's pretty impressive. Once you get there anything can happen. The Cubs and Pirates are both pretty dang good so if the Cardinals ain't up it to the task the rest of the way then they go home like the Cubs and Pirates have been doing for YEARS!!!! I guess you can become a Cubs fan next season.

I don't recall EVER proclaiming the greatness of Kozma or Jay. I have said and still believe Jay is a better player than Bourjos and I guess the Cardinal Brass agrees. Last time I checked Kozma and Jay are both still on a major league roster so I guess the powers that be in a very good organization think they have some value and I'd bet they know more than you and I both.

I didn't see where anybody called you a Cubs fan. I said if you could become one if you're so unhappy with this team and it's management from top top to bottom. It's all good, they shaved another number off the clincher and put a little more pressure on the Pirates. I hope they make the last series with them meaningless for us.

OK 3R. But it's not all good. It has been a struggle. And it's hard to even predict the post season roster and rotation. But it will be very meaningful if we beotch slap Chi-town in the first round....

It's all good every time they knock another notch off the clinching numbers. Unless and until that doesn't happen it's still all good. Once they get to post season it's a new life for everyone involved but I'd sure like to get home field throughout the playoffs.

This has been quite the weird year. As the team became 'weaker' via injury, their performance on the field grew stronger. Now that we're getting players back, we're struggling to build chemistry. At least we're maintaining our lead albeit against the bottom of the division.

Even with the injuries, and having to face the stronger side of the bracket, not reaching the NLCS would constitute a failed season in my view. If we get there, I like our chances.

The Pirates NOT beating one of the weaker teams, may be their down fall this season. They have NOT been good in the NL Central but they will be in the playoffs and Milwaukee won't, so who knows what might happen.

Any legit Birds fan despises the BFIBs and Rights Holders. It's annoying, but comes with most storied franchises/teams. I'm a huge UK fan, and their fanbase is OUT. OF. CONTROL. Part of it I suppose, but it's still annoying.

I only read the real fans posts on this board. I ignore the few members who don't even watch the games but comment any way. It has enhanced my mosports pleasure and probably frustrates the little beotches who do nothing but gripe about those of us who know the game. I love seeing "show ignored content" on a thread. I know the D-bags are crying.
