They never were. Perhaps to stop confusing our big class brethren we henceforth refer to class .5 as class 0.5.
I don't think its just SEMO with sorry Class 1 public schools. There's only been 2 schools South of I-70 win a championship in the last 20 years, not counting the Hayti.
Of the four districts, weren't half represented by teams in SEMO?
Windsor, Marionville and Valle.
I count 3 without Hayti.
And if Valle had been where they should have been I surmise there'd be a bunch more.

If valle had been class 2 or higher like 99% of rational people think they should have been there'd likely be many more non-SEMO titles south of i70.
