I bet Class two is happy to hear that Blair Oaks is out of Hair kids after this year.

Not a lot of love for SW Missouri with your picks, I see. You picked Lamar, but I am guessing only because they are playing another SWMO school.

Reeds Spring over Sullivan by 11
West Plains over St Dom by 4
Carthage hangs close but falls by 7
But have to agree with the rest

No, I picked Lamar because I think they will win. Same reason I picked the other teams I picked. Not concerned with where they are from, or if they are public or private. I have no allegiance, no preference, and nothing invested. Just picked who I think are the best teams. There are several that I don't feel too strongly about, just my best educated guess.

I definitely think Reed's Spring could beat Sullivan, and West Plains could beat St. Dominic. Just not a great group of teams. The winners of those games are unlikely to sniff a state title, and probably wouldn't most years. Those 2 brackets are unbalanced.
Carthage vs Francis Howell is probably a matchup of the best 2 remaining Class 5 teams.

Why do you think Cape beats Fort?

It's nothing I feel very strongly about. Mainly just thinking that if Cape Central beat MICDS, they must be playing pretty well. Not blown away by the Class 5 competition in KC this year (or the last several). Wouldn't surprise me if either team wins, though.

Seems like Carthage is the underdog here but definitely don't count them out. I remember them going up to Zumwalt North in the semis a few years ago and winning a game they were supposed to lose. Against the top ranked and undefeated team. Admittedly Carthage was not decidedly better than FZN but they won by controlling the ball, I believe they ran almost the entire 4th quarter off the clock en route to a score that gave them the lead and left Zumwalt with only enough time to toss a few hail marys.

I have a hard time seeing Seneca getting past Lamar but who knows.
