I have been on here so long, I forgot my real identity.
I've been here since about 2001 but originally under a different login that I lost. That was back in the day when there were a lot parents, players, and maybe some coaches posting here and lots of individial games would have threads with tons of posts. It was also a real pain to wade through the threads with lots of posts because each post was a unique page. It was one of the few (maybe only) ways to get live-ish updates on games that were out of reach for radio signals.
I do wish there were more than about 10 of the 500 or so teams in Missouri represented here.

Bullit what year did you graduate from Monett? I graduated from there in 78. Played for Lawson and Ramsey. Loved my line coach (Coach Brown). That last game against Louisana in the State Championship was the coldest game I ever played in. I must admit I did love the home field advantage we had. Had to really hurt to do what Louisana had to do, drive all the way to Monett and then lose.
I graduated in 86, I am pretty sure they were a bit older than you but my mom was friends with Ronnie Martin's wife and Sippy's wife who passed of cancer.
I know Martin was head coach at Cassville in the early 80's then went on to be the DC for Branson for decades. I think you even coached Basketball at Cassville in the early 90's?

Same here. I’m almost 7 years in and haven’t been kicked off for anything yet. Feel like that’s kind of an accomplishment.

Originally I was spread_em. Back in 01, the board was set up differently. All “threads” were just kind of on one screen. I got into a rapid fire hilarious insult contest with several kids from Farmington baseball. We were having a great time but we took up like five pages of screen and we all got blacklisted. That was back when kids were on here all the time and the schools hadn’t filtered anyone off of anything.
Raw tried to get me to talk smack on Festus for my first post. I took the professional approach of complimenting the enemy.

Well I know he isnt me. Mox has said on several occasions, that he is just one man. He doesnt seem fat enough to be Bosko or have a studder like Bobby. So he might only be a few Doc Guys

One really fun old HS sports memory was March 1986...................Monett vs. Kearney in the MO girls basketball semis at the old Hearnes Center. Remember that one?
I went to welding classes with a couple of the guys from that team.....the two RBs. The Bounus kid and the fullback...Stan was his first name.

Yep went to all those games. Monett made it to the final 4 three years in a row. Had some really good teams back then.
