I believe 2002 or 03 is when I found it, For the first few years I would just read, but started posting in 2005.
Season 11. Season 3 was rough. I got booted out for the "Hit of the Game" posts...the hysterical hot mom from Webb was threatened with a lawsuit by me. They did not want that kind of heat. It was my first time getting thrown out. Back then the Webbies were all over this board. Remember, they would take over every post? I really went away for a while. I notice several imposters on here pretending to be me. But I know where I've been.

There is a crew of you guys who have been here near what I would assume was the dawn of this site!!!!
This will be 22 seasons for me. I first remember using this site during the 2001 season under a different account than the one I use now.
I DO miss the quantity of people who used to post and the amount of information. There were threads discussing SO MANY games and probably a minimum of 5 Webb City threads. It was really the only way to get scores that I knew of because facebook, scorestream, all that didn't exist. I don't believe you could even stream audio back then. The technology existed but it wasn't widespread.
I DO NOT miss the layout of the old site. Each post was it's own page so certain threads were very tedious to catch up on especially if your internet wasn't cooperating. There was a user called carthagemom or tigermom or something that was always getting into arguments with the webbies who WAY outnumbered everyone else. Probably half the site was WC fans and players until they banned their players from using the site.

I am ambivalent about this being for kids, frankly. Social media has changed the World but I abhor the common sites like Twitter and FB. Back in those years I had a whole list of people texting back and forth today it is down to a dozen or less on a consistent basis. I also miss all the activity BUT tracking the record 45 NWMO Pick Em players was crazy work and I didn't have access to the Minitab stuff I use today. The Webbie stuff was sometimes lots of fun sometimes intense. All that being said I am still here through it all no plans to move on!

First username I created was in 2003. Don't remember the month. Got banned my senior in high school, so I made this name in 2005.
Had I been on here in my youth (roaring 20s) NO doubt I would have been banned who knows how many times! Cool you are another who pre-dates yours truly!
I started in 2001 . Rarely if ever posted but read daily. I don't recall my name .... something about river otters . Got banned once or twice . Started this acct in 06
June, 2001. I thought it was earlier. 22 years, wow!
One of the best Webbie posters was Mac QB, or something like that. Miss him posting.
Don't have a clue, Rock Hard Corn Frogs office is in same building as mine,,he just got tired of being blacklisted and gave up
I joined MoSports March 9th, 2016 cause I heard my man Stef was trying to make a place for famous documentary stars to hangout. Wow! Time truly does fly when you're having fun, right fellas!?
I remember back in the day coaches were on here, there use to be actual football talk and they would kid each other. I am sure some still read some might even still post a bit, but man were those days just a bit more light hearted and fun.
Not just mosports, society in general was just a bit more lighthearted and fun back then.
RHCF was one of the most interesting posters on here...
