An extremist SCOTUS majority appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote telling states that they can’t protect the right to vote, the right to choose, the climate or kids from gun violence. What conservatives have become???

NY can’t pass laws governing concealed carry? I thought conservatives were all about states governing themselves? These extremist viewpoints are going to backfire.

States can't circumvent the Constitution, how do you not understand that? The Second Amendment is pretty clear and straight forward to the SC and a lot of Americans.

And what voting rights are the SC taking away? Be a citizen and have proof of citizenship, show up and vote or obtain a absentee ballot and vote. If you can't meet those simple and easy guidelines then obviously you really don't need to vote.

The view point I see back firing is the leftwing......but continue to preach your propaganda and hope it changes minds.

Our system is completely broken.

2016: Trump loses by 3M votes

2016-2020: Trump appoints 3 new SCOTUS justices

2020: Trump loses by *8M* votes

2020-Eternity: Those three justices repeatedly and routinely hand down unpopular right-wing legal BS to control an undeniably un-democratic society, including the 2024 presidential election overthrow and the expansion of the court to include justices: Kid Rock, Rittenhouse, Carlson and Jeanine Pirro.

If only they could have kept Ruth alive longer.
Here’s a joke.
What did the fetus say to the doctor?
“My body, my choice!”

Who gives a flying flip who appointed who. The point is they were right in reversing Row vs Wade. Do you know what is listed as "following the science of abortion"? The mother's 'aspirational 1-year plans', 'the ability to better care for her other children', 'lower self-esteem, and lower life satisfaction', etc. There's nothing about the unborn baby being an actual human being. Why? Because the medical science proves the unborn baby has the same senses as a 6 month old baby. If the mother doesn't want another child then keep her legs crossed for crying out loud. How about if we just kill one of her other children if too many will cause a dent in her aspirations or self-esteem?

I've asked it before, let's debate this in person over a Facebook live Toots and list it right here. Stupidity and ignorance are only propagated until the facts come out.

I’m a grown man. I’m not on Facebook.

You can believe whatever you want.
You can express yourself to the masses.
You can vote however you want.
But you can’t make me listen to your BS.

And your tribe should be a shoe in to overwhelmingly take over the house and senate this year and today put that in jeopardy. So enjoy a few months of glory.
Gripe about the protestors. But you
extremists are playing right into our hands.

Now if you want to show how much you care about human lives, do something about teenagers having access to semi-automatic weapons.

When people say, “you will still be able to get an abortion” what they are really saying is “rich people can still afford to go out of state for abortions and politicians mistresses will still get them. But the po folk are screwed and no we still don’t want to pay for food stamps or free lunches at school. And Medicaid is goin bye bye. Damn freeloaders.”

You're a grown man and not on Facebook. What's the difference in that and being a MoSports keyboard warrior? rofl Looks like I didn't have to MAKE you listen to my BS, you did it all on your own. Extremists??? You do realize that anyone in history wanting to murder babies by ripping them from their mother's womb would be the extremists. When morality dissipates to the place of murdering babies what makes you think that euthanizing "old' people when they're deemed an inconvenience isn't possible? Present logical ways to keep teenagers from accessing semi-automatic weapons and let's talk. Including how to keep them from the Chicago people killing each other every day.

George Carlin??? You're using a mind fried coke head to make a sensible point??? Here's what his daughter said about him...

As the Carlins‘ only child, she had a backseat view of George’s career, of his edgy shows, cocaine addiction, alcoholism, health scares and massive IRS debt.
A particularly haunting story from a trip the Carlins took to Hawaii when Kelly was 11 stands out. “The coke was running low,” read Kelly. “Mom wanted more and argued about every trespass they’d ever committed against each other in their 14 years together. Then Mom picked up a kitchen knife, and Dad did, too. I screamed and hurled myself between them. Stop. Stop. Please, just stop this.”

I guarantee that if George came back he would have a way different view on things. Pretty easy to spout our immoral beliefs on this side. Won't be so easy on the next side.

It just drives you mad that you can’t control all women doesn’t it. You must be one of those bitter divorcées. Sucks to be you.

You guys had it made. The pro choice people were tolerating the red states squeezing the hell out of abortion availability. They were going to live with the limited access. And it was working to reduce abortions. But you had to go too far. Now it’s going to blow up in your face. Live and learn.

If Democrats wanted to codify Roe v. Wade over the last 50 years, they could have... but the issue is worth more to them in fundraising if it's up in the air instead of settled law.

You pushed abortion. From “legal, safe, and rare in these specific instances”, you pushed now to the point of post birth abortion on demand for any reason. Sorry. The progressives should've left us alone. Lol

You folks seem to forget that several on the current SC have said Roe is settled law, including the Chief Justice. 3 said it very recently when they apparently lied during their confirmations hearings.

Wow guy, haven't seen you this Big Mad since yesterday's NY gun decision. At the current rate of one extreme meltdown a day you are putting your health at serious risk. Take an aspirin before bed and pay someone a dollar to give you a hug. And no sky screaming tomorrow, I don't think your heart can take it.
I don't know how you can possibly talk about someone having a meltdown. You are the king of meltdowns.

The SC is cherrypicking state's rights... it's as simple as that !
No......Abortion is not mentioned in the Constitution as a individual right or freedom...the right to Bear Arms and it not being infringed upon clearly is!!

You do realize that near half the voting country Support what you call right wing Legal BS.

IT was the law of the land....the accepted it at the time of their nomination they had not choice. It doesn't mean they don't have the right assess and revaluate the decision using their own judgement and legal expertise.

Plenty of SC decisions of been changed.

So you are presented with a logical response......The constitution doesn't give women the right to kill babies and that plenty of People including women in America are Pro Life and you Go full TOOTS and your rebuttal is that he is angry and wants to control women!!!

You are so immature at times it makes me chuckle out loud. And to think you masquerade as a professional is mind numbing.

So they get to lie about it in the confirmations hearings and you're ok with that, nice.

I get my analysis and treatment team evaluation done efficiently and summer is LC time so I have some down time...and I type fast... had to catch up from all the Friday/Sat./Sun. activity. I got better stuff to do than look at Mosports on the weekend so Sunday night I usually respond back.

That's not a lie...they state it was the law of the land and settled at that time...they never said forever or that it was a constitutional right.

What does settled law mean if not SETTLED LAW? Chief Justice Roberts said the same thing and stuck to it. It seems more than half the SC Justices over the last 50 years agree with him. This was not the first challenge to Roe.

Settled law means a law the court hasn't decided to overturn yet! That is the legal definition. Clearly they decided to overturn that law and kick it back to the states and local voters to decide.

But why now after all the cases before the SC over the last 65 years?

I don't think it means what you think it is. From Kavanaugh no less.
"I am not sure that all legal scholars refer to Roe as the settled law of the land at the Supreme Court level since Court can always overrule its precedent,".

Lets not forget this SC also just overturned a NY gun law that has been on the books for over 100 years. This group must actually think they have far superior understanding of the law/constitution than their predecessors over the last century.

I am just using the definition put forth by a Article in the Atlantic....back in 2018. I'm sure other talking heads and legal scholars disagree with that definition and some agree.

Well just because a law was on the books for over a 100 yrs and had not been questioned at the SC level might have something to do with it getting overturned and deemed unlawful and unconstitutional. It's not like that law had been challenged before the SC before and ruled constitutional and now was ruled unconstitutional.

You seem to forget it's the SC job to keep the Legislative and Executive Branch in check. Those two Branches tend to want to take away individual Freedoms and Rights and amass control for themselves.
