Thank you. Looks like some pretty good games, outside of Kennett-PB. Strange to see Sikeston at the 6 seed for sure.

Wow, lots of upsets. Did anyone watch the Jackson game, curious what happened there. Also curious on the Sikeston game. Anyone watch these games?

I did not watch the Jackson game and I do not know anything about New Madrid, but Jackson is missing a few football players that won a state title. They have size, are physical and have some good guards as well. As the season goes on, I think they will be a tough out once they get some more depth from their football players.

All the top three seeds lost in the first round, which I'm quite sure has never happened before in this tournament. All in all, this may be the most balanced SEMO Conference Tournament in the history of the 15-year event. Lots of parity in the conference this year. I really believe on a given night any of the top eight teams could beat the other. Jackson lacks ball handling at the moment and turned it over a lot against NMCC. I think Jackson will improve as the season goes, especially when they get the football guys in there. NMCC may have their best team in 10 years so they could possibly win the tournament. Bluff has a lot of talented players so they could possibly win it too. Sikeston graduated their top guys and are very inexperienced, but they are still Sikeston and will always be a tough out. They beat Charleston who were missing a couple key guys. Jackson eliminated Charleston last night. Notre Dame looked solid and won a close game against Dexter, who is also solid. Both will be tough outs at the end of the year. Cape Central was the top seed and lost to Bluff. Cape then lost to Dexter so they are out of the tournament. Cape has some things to fix and had some guys out, but the talent is there and they're huge. Kennett is rebuilding this year with a new coach and graduating most of their guys.
