Didn't Perryville used to play in this tourney? What did they pick up in this ones place?

Also what is the max on in season tournaments - 3?

Yes, Perryville used to be in this tournament. Last year they made it to the Final Four of the Gold Bracket before being eliminated by district foe and eventual tournament champion Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau), who went on to defeat Bernie 25-21, 25-23 in the championship game.

Perryville will be participating in the Oakville Invitational Tournament the same/this weekend.

Yes, three is the maximum number of tournaments a team is allowed to participate in, I believe, as per MSHSAA, excluding Districts and anything beyond that.
