Right now I'm torn between going to Lathrop or Ray-Pec.

R-P hasn’t been C6 for very long, right? but I’m impressed how quickly they’ve ramped up their program into a playoff power in a short amount of time. What has it been - 4-5 years?

Just got home from calling the Ray-Pec/DeSmet game. And wow. DeSmet is so good. Tons of athletes. Very impressed with that offense and defense. Those 3 RB’s are so good and complement each very well. Only bad thing that happened today for them was star DE getting booted out of the game for throwing a punch. He’s gone for next week for sure. In summation DS 37 RP 0

I saw them albeit via webcast earlier this year. Today's result, while a bit disappointing to this KC metro fan, was not a huge surprise. Very curious how Joplin plans to attack this machine.

I think Joplin DeSmet will be a pretty even game.

I don’t think the Joplin D will be able to handle all 3 of those RB’s. You can contain 1 but not the other 2. RP did alright against them. None of the 3 had 100 yards rushing but all 3 had a rushing score. And DeSmet’s defense is outstanding. The 2 CB’s are very good. Albeit 1 of them is the best CB is MO in 2021 class. I’ve got DeSmet by 14+ next weekend in COMO

You may be right.

Joplin knocked off two of the better programs in the state this season at Webb and vs FZW, and it sounds like DeSmet may be w/o a starting DE.

ha..exactly what I thought. hopefully joplin can keep it close and pull it out in the end. im assuming they will put their #1 cb on Westmoreland. not sure if Westmoreland is hurt but he hasnt had the success hes had since Kirkwood. he was looking a lil worse for wear in the fzw game...idk.

He is not nearly alone if I recall right. Not to peek too far ahead but there can be little to no doubt who is 2020 pre-season C6 #1.

I think this is DeSmet in a laugher. I wasnt sure until they dismantled a very good RayPec team. This one is over early.

Very good yes but not exceptional. Having not seen Joplin I am not going to judge i.e. guess whether they are............
