I've heard rumors that they will no longer be in the SCA starting next school year which makes since bein that they are the biggest school in the conference but I'm wanting to know wat conference they are moving to and also if anyone knows wat the 2016 football schedule looks like. Thanks in advance.

Rumor mill is that Salem is joining the conference that has St James Sullivan Union not sure of others

Being from Willow and around our coaches quite a bit I have heard nothing about this. Thats not saying the rumor isnt true either. The only place I could see them going to is the conference with St. James, Sullivan, Owensville, Pacific, Union, and St. Clair (according to schedules of them playing each other)

As far as their schedule goes, they are probably waiting on district and class assignment to be released then get their schedule finalized. I do know they are not playing Reeds Spring in game #2 this year, but no clue who they replaced them with

I've heard they picked up a game down around Joplin area for week 2 and yeah it makes since to move to a new conference due to the new district point system but I think them goin to conference with St James and etc is that they all run the spread offense like wat Salem has started to run since Mac took over but guess we'll find out once new classes and district alignments are made.

This is all rumor...as there have been no official discussions regarding Salem joining the FRC.

There have been rumors of FRC expanding by 2 teams for some time now. This is the first time I've seen Salem mentioned. I know Cuba has been mentioned in the past as they have no conference opponents in FB. Also heard Washington and Rolla mentioned before as well, essentially forming a FRC large and small divisions. Interesting to see where all this goes.

It would make sense so for that reason I would say it will never happen.
