Ryan Shaw passed away this afternoon. Prayers go out to his family at this time.

Words cannot describe my sadness. Ryan was just 43, he is survived by his wife Lori, daughter Kenzie and son Jordan. Keep them in your prayers. I will post funeral information as soon as it becomes available.

Just saw this on Facebook. So sad to hear. So many great memories of coaching against him. He was always very positive and always had a conversation with me any where we saw each other.

So very sorry to hear. Never knew this man but he seemed to be a great guy. May God Bless his wife, children and all who knew him.

My wife and I are good friends of Ryan's parents. We met them when Ryan was a young boy. His mother passed away 3 months ago from cancer. His father was on the school board when I coached at Clopton. He played for me at Clopton. His death is a tragedy hard to believe. It only proves that only God knows our fate. It proves that we must love our family and hold them close to us everyday because we never know when we might take that last breath. Ryan loved his wife and his children very much and our prayers go out to them and his father, Terry. I do know he talked to his father Thursday morning and told him he loved him. Ryan, you will be missed.

SO tough to take! This certainly serves as a wake-up call for me! Ryan's passing once again reminds me that we are ALL day-to-day and we should treasure what time we get to spend with each other and cherish those moments forever! After seeing Ryan at the State Tourneys @ the Mizzou Arena each March, it just won't be quite the same for me with his passing.............
