Nothing has happened to me... I am still here... I am working on my specialist degree and we are looking for football staff... and if we get a great coach that is in it for the long haul the head coaching job could possibly be given to him.... I am a short timer due to retirement plan...where has the time gone?? and we don't want to miss the opportunity to hire someone with the skills and the desire to be a long term coach so the job is being opened up. This is a great place to work and there are a lot of excited people to make this a go.

So what is considered "young?" How many years is the district offering on a contract? Sounds like a great opportunity that the district is willing to invest in.

But everything is better when its discussed in an open forum such as this!

Heck! Youre not doing much these days Mox! I saw that your law firm folded up shop. Why dont you apply!? You could get Stef to coach DBs, Nickerson as your offensive coordinator, and Ill come run the Boosters Club in Russellville!

Retirement plan? Stuck you ain't that old... Get you a new pair of Red Cowboys boots, a coat of wax on the old dodge, and a tune up on the vet and you will be good for another 20 years.

MLCcoach, what do you say? Would you take a Brown educated, former district champion QB from Texas? I come with some baggage though. You would have to hire my buddies to come along. If you don't have a good booster club, my boy Bosko will get us going. We will have anything we need, tackling dummies, kicking net, bags, jerseys, trips to the strip club, whatever we need. Let me know what you think Coach.

Hopefully some of the other Show Me Conference schools get on board with football. If not Russellville might be a honorary member of the Kaysinger.

Wasn't New Bloomfield supposed to start up a program?
Don't know anything about New Bloomfield.

Just figuring out how a Russellville schedule might have looked this year:
at Fayette
at South Callaway
Cole Camp
Hermann
at Lincoln
Cuba
at Windsor
Tipton
at MMA
